Privacy

• Your account: the name and email you sign up with and a hashed password. We never store the password itself.
• What you record: green coffees, roasts, uploaded roast logs, tasting results and notes, brews, gear, favourites and preferences.
• A sign-in cookie that keeps you signed in for up to 30 days.

Bean journeys are public by default. Once one of your coffees has 3 roasts and 2 of them are tasted, its journey gets a public page showing:

• the coffee: name, origin, region, variety, process, altitude and grade
• each roast: batch number, date, profile, roast level, batch size, weight loss, end temperature and time in the hot zone
• each tasting result (good, or the fault you picked) and the rest day
• the display name you set in Account, or "A BrewedLate roaster" if you have not set one

Brew recipes you validate in My Brews can also be published as public recipe pages.

Never shown: your written notes, your sign-up name, your email, your raw roast logs, your supplier or purchase links, or coffees with fewer roasts than the threshold above.

• One coffee: open its bean journey and choose "Make private".
• Everything: in Account, turn off "Publish my bean journeys".

Either change takes effect straight away.

• PostHog for product analytics: which pages are visited and which features are used.
• Better Stack for server logs, used to find and fix errors.
• Resend to send account emails.
• An AI model provider (currently Anthropic) when you use the roast or brew assistant: the roast and tasting details needed for the answer are sent to it.
• Stripe for payments. We do not store card details.
• DigitalOcean hosts the site and the database.

We do not sell your data.

Use the contact page. Tell us the email on your account and we will delete the account and everything recorded under it, or answer your question.
